Sometime along the lines of, "Which team was Harry Caray working for when he started his 7th inning stretch singing of 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'?"

Continually forgetting to play also sucks. I was surprised to see my HQ friends pop up in a game - I think it was Sunday, but definitely not Friday.

Yeah, I saw them (friends) Sunday (I think). One should be embarrassed, I won't say who, but he/she needs to watch more Disney movies with his/her grandchild, especially the movies with John Mills and Dorothy McGuire. :P

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
