RIP Kate Spade

Fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide at her Upper East Side apartment, according to news reports. Spade's housekeeper found the 55-year-old hanging in her apartment at 850 Park Ave., according to told CBS New York and the Associated Press.

Police were able to confirm that a 55-year-old woman was found unconscious in her bedroom and pronounced dead at about 10:25 a.m., but they did not immediately release the victim's name.
