My first win.

I'm not counting that it was only 8 questions, and a $.12 or .13 prize.

There was confetti, I tell ya.

Congrats! I chose to go with Cash Show instead, since I had an extra life. I won $1.37.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I turn sound off when Scott is on. He makes me sick. What just happened on HQ? After q1 he talked for 5 minutes and then the game stopped.

If I hadn't missed the billionaire question, I'd have gone out on the last question. Robert Downey, Jr. played Charlie Chaplin, but I guess an honorary Oscar doesn't count. I would have gotten the sampling question right, but it would have been a lucky guess.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about that.

I don't think we're following the Friday System. If you KNOW the answer, click in the first 5 seconds. If you don't know, don't click until second 6. If no one clicks in the first 5 seconds, we're on our own.
