I don't think Charles Durning is right for 78 and it was my answer. I thought that Brooke Shields was an orphan in Tilt but she wasn't (I was concerned because that would have given us two Charleses in the puzzle.) So that clue is still in play.

Another partial:

79. Jeff Dunham + Bridges (Connections) = Jeff Bridges, goes with ????????

The link is probably one of our unanswered questions. And Jeff Bridges has appeared in so many movies, it's going to be hard to work backwards on this one.

It would sure help to know how many incorrect answers and matches we currently have.

Two Charleses isn't necessarily a problem if one or both of them was used as the connection rather than for the first name. But I'm sure you're right about Durning being wrong, unless the game maker made the same error about Brooke Shields.

Another one that may be wrong is my Billy Rose/James Caan link, since "Bloom" seems a better fit for "flower" than rose.

That would also free Caan up to match with Dolphin for James Whale.

BINGO! I googled Boris Karloff together with Frank Borzage, and Karloff is the answer to #94!

60. James Caan + Whale (Dolphin) = James Whale, goes with 94. Boris Karloff

Puts Billy Barty back in play.

59. Billy Barty + Crystal (Glass) = Billy Crystal, goes with ????????

I thought of this earlier, but Billy Rose seemed like a good match. And Robin Williams is already being used. Maybe our unidentified funny man? Or the actor we thought was Charles Durning?

I don't much like the 'password' for this one, but the match seems right.

15. Andrew Garfield + Card (Plastic?) = Andrew Card, goes with 82. Federico Pena

Either the non-Durning actor or the funnyman should be a George (and the funnyman is not George Carlin; I checked).

18. This funnyman's college classmates included two Oscar-winning actresses and the Emmy-nominated star of a long-running sitcom who would be replaced in the cast of that sitcom by one of her Oscar-winning classmates.

I went through Oscar-winning actresses and found that Cloris Leachman replaced Charlotte Rae in The Facts of Life and they were classmates at Northwestern, as were Patricia Neal and .....

Maybe Robert Urich matches with Billy Crystal? They were both on Soap, although I would think that other people would be better matches for Crystal.

Flowers could be Garland, but I don't see a Judy or a Merrick (or a matchup with either of them)
Whiskey could be Rye.

I looked up Shirley Temple. By coincidence, she had a radio show at age 14. The musical director was David Rose, who could have fit into this game. But it was on CBS.

I was wrong about this being Itzhak Perlman:

16. In 1964, Isaac Stern introduced this child prodigy to the national TV audience.

Perlman had already been on the Ed Sullivan Show before 1964. He was over eighteen by then. It's actually YO YOU MA ... who still goes with Emanuel Ax.

Edith Head designed the outfits for Angela Lansbury in The Court Jester and Samson and Delilah. That's the closest I can come to a match, although I'd guess Head designed dresses for many, many actresses in her heyday. It's not great, but it's a closer match than with anyone else on the list.

This could be Dinah Shore. The age is right and the 15 minute radio show is right, but it was for WGM radio in Nashville.

I wonder if the crafter of this puzzle, wherever he is, made a mistake.

Eva LeGallienne's most prominent film role was Resurrection, where she played the mother of actor Roberts Blossom.

Is it possible he reversed this and expected us to make Robert Blossoms? Blossoms is a natural password link to Flowers, and I never like the Billy Crystal/Robert Urich match much.

This is where having a creator who doesn't abandon the puzzle would come in handy.
