Hmmn. Maybe. I wonder if Lizbit has been washing her feet in the sink.ulysses5019 wrote:
Are you sure it's not dog hair?
(It couldn't be my hair, because I am of a particularly short and sleek furrosity. Besides, if I had sheddy bits, I would have the good manners to keep them to myself.)

Was the Argentina question that easy or was he just lucky to get something he knew? It seemed that it simply came down to knowing what the Argentinian flag looked like or that none of the other 3 had a sun on them. I'm not that knowledgable about national flags. I suppose if I were ever to get on this show or J! that's an area where some studying might help me.

That was an outstanding job Leeza did of derailing Anthony in the middle of his deliberations over a question. Yeah, he was already heading down the wrong track, but she couldn't wait a few seconds to compliment him on his lack of lip quivering and heel tapping?BBTranscriptTeam wrote: $25,000

Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I'm with you on this one. I would guess that the month of May has some importance in Argentina's history, which could be used to figure out the right answer as well.slam wrote:Was the Argentina question that easy or was he just lucky to get something he knew? The CIA Factbook says Revolution Day is May 25; I presume that's where the name comes from.gsabc wrote:I'm with you on this one. I would guess that the month of May has some importance in Argentina's history, which could be used to figure out the right answer as well.

$25K: I never would've guessed salt. I thought it was either ink or textiles. I would've phoned a friend before locking in with anything.

I know about the May Revolution because my sister's birthday is May 25 and it's always on those 'Today in history' things (meanwhile my birthday has several disasters. Ha!), but wasn't sure of the flag.MarleysGh0st wrote:The CIA Factbook says Revolution Day is May 25; I presume that's where the name comes from.gsabc wrote:I'm with you on this one. I know Lithuania's flag because there's a group of crazy Lithuanians who go to a lot of Nuggets' games and proceed to lose their shit over Linas Kleiza. It involves waving a flag and a group sing of the Lithuanian National Anthem.
Czech Republic I'd figure didn't have a sun because they have no sun.
Jordan I had no idea.
So, push come to shove, I'm going with Argentina.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

A post on the J! board says that Anthony was a runner-up on a high school edition of Jeopardy! about five years ago.
