FNGD Q3 - FOOD

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Jul 25, 2008 9:04 pm

B - In which film does a somewhat circuitous introductory scene lead to the discussion of the names of McDonalds burgers in Paris?

G - Which humble foodstuff was actually loaded in greatest amount to be eaten on the Titanic. (may be helpful to remember the great ship was built in Ireland...) ?

I'll guess . . . Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Potatoes.

Pulp Fiction. Great Movie.FWIW There's no Royale with Cheese in Montreal. Its quart-de-livre avec fromage.

I gotta watch Shawshank, same year, same Oscar best picture competitor, at some point.

Potatoes. Even the toffs ate more humbly in those days, and the toffs were a minority on the ship.

24-22.

If you watch Shawshank, I'll watch Pulp Fiction.

You have missed one of the best films ever.
