2024 Compendium: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62552

After taking off last Tuesday to recharge my batteries, I'm back to resume my musical countdown. We're looking at the music of 1990-94 now, and I really took a buzzsaw to this era. Fifteen songs from my 2018 list have been knocked out.

#68. Cradle of Love, Billy Idol (1990)
#66. Woman in Chains, Tears for Fears f/ Oleta Adams (1990)
#65. Set the Night to Music, Roberta Flack f/ Maxi Priest (1991)
#63. She's Playing Hard to Get, Hi-Five (1992)
#62. (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection, Nelson (1990)
#60. Rhythm of the Rain, Dan Fogelberg (1990)
#59. Love Is All Around, Wet Wet Wet (1994)
#57. Live and Learn, Joe Public (1992)
#55. Something to Believe In, Poison (1990)
#53. Everything, Jody Watley (1990)
#51. Because I Love You (The Postman Song), Stevie B (1990)
#45. Do Anything, Natural Selection (1991)
#42. I've Been Thinking About You, Londonbeat (1991)
#39. Can't Stop, After 7 (1990)
#38. Tennessee, Arrested Development (1992)

As mentioned in previous posts, two other songs were reclassified as 1989 songs. You would think that, after all of that shakeup, this would be a shorter list than the one in my 2018 series. On the contrary, the in is similar to the out. I have fourteen songs joining my favorites and two songs that were previously listed as 1995 songs, so the overall count goes from 68 to 67. On with the tunes!

There's more where that came from... next Tuesday!
