Mentalist who appeared on the Tonight Show 88 times and inspired Johnny Carson's Carnac the Magnificent character. Kreskin was born Joseph Kresge but later changed his name legally to The Amazing Kreskin. Kreskin also had a stage show where he had members of the audience hide his paycheck, and if he couldn't find it, he wouldn't get paid for the show. He almost always found it. Kreskin also appeared numerous times on other talk shows including Live with Regis and Kathy Lee and had his own TV show for several years.
