Re: Update on Trump Legal Cases
Really?? None of you people who have been masturbating for years about every little detail regarding Trump's legal woes have seen fit to update as how things stand this week.
I have followed these things as little as possible and even I can see that there might be some relevant news.

Re: Update on Trump Legal Cases
I was waiting for the official word before I updated this thread. I usually try to post facts or respond to disinformation from the aforementioned poster or anyone else. But it looks like Jack Smith's lawfare is dead, as well as Merchan's. Fani got re-elected in corrupt Fulton County, but her attempt at taking Trump down on made up charges is all but dead, and it don't look like Trump is going to jail anytime soon, if ever.Weyoun wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 12:56 amThe person who usually updates this is ailing, as you know, and stopped posting here for sometime.Spock wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 8:54 pmReally?? Make of it what you will. Your opinion as to what happens next is as good as mine, which hasn't changed. All these actions against trump were manufactured lawfare and none of it will stand. And my hope is that the people behind this abominable bullshit will be held accountable by the legitimate law. Seriously accountable. So this kind of thing will never happen again. I don't advocate retribution. I want justice. That is what the legacy media and the swamp has wrong. They confuse justice with retribution.

Do you think that threatening to deport Jack Smith is justice? "We should throw Jack Smith out with them, the mentally deranged people. I don't think you understand what a threat is. If those quotes are accurate (did you listen to the interview and transcribe yourself or just copy off a website?) they simply state an oppion. He never said "I will" or "we will". I'm sure you think a lot of things should be done, but you may not be willing to do them, as well.earendel wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 7:59 pmDo you think that threatening to deport Jack Smith is justice? I didn't listen to the show, but I listened to the clip that had this. But whether an option or an opinion (oppion?), the question still stands - would it be justice for Smith to be deported, or would it be retribution?BackInTex wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:04 pmI don't think you understand what a threat is. Because of all the names SSS has called me over the years-I have earned the right to publicly wonder if he is really glad that he spent so much of what are possibly (probably?) his last healthy years and for sure the last healthy years of his wife mentally masturbating over everything about Trump.

Trump has speculated about prosecuting those who prosecuted him. It seems unlikely, but he is trying to appoint a sex offender as Attorney General, and here we are.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 8:48 amJack Smith is not going to be deported, ear. If it is established that these people abused their power to prosecute him for political purposes (which is patently obvious to anyone without TDS), then you don't think they should face any accountability?Weyoun wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:49 amTrump has speculated about prosecuting those who prosecuted him. What is the actual crime, something from the statute, that you would charge Jack Smith with? Trump for example was charged with violating national security protocols, for having those documents, because there are relevant laws regarding that on the books.

Accountability is the goal. Legal accountability. Remember, there is the question of Jack Smith's appointment being legal to begin with. Oh. I forgot. You don't remember it because it never was allowed to enter your mind.
Trump was charged with violating national security protocols. The same ones that Hillary and Biden skated on? Tell me about the relevant laws on the books and then tell me the differences on how they were applied and try to sound rational.
Where do these examples lead you to?

Jack Smith is pursuing another in a long line of lawfare cases. Pretty much every time he loses or gets overturned by more rational people. That is what he does. And he pursues his cases with much more focus against conservatives than democrats. And it's questionable if he even has the legal right to do so, in this case. The real problem, IMO, is the entire leadership and culture of the DOJ. Garland, Mayorkas and many others need to be held accountable for their political weaponization of the DOJ. Hmm, maybe they should be deported. Now that I've said that, you can report that flock wants Garland deported. Right?

It's hard to know when Trump is "riffing" or actually proposing something. And with regard to bleach, shall we dredge up that argument? OK, then, here are Trump's own words, spoken at a press conference in 2023.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:56 amTrump was riffing on the topic that was being discussed. Jack Smith is not going to be deported, ear. It should embarass you that you have descended to bob juch's level of discourse.
“A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world,” Trump began, clearly thinking the question himself, “So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that, too. It sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that.”
Of course Trump later claimed he was being sarcastic, but the tone of his voice and the seeming excitement he displayed at the time make it hard to believe he was anything other than sincere.
I have no problem with accountability but I still have a problem seeing exactly what it is that they did that requires it. You say it's "questionable", but if he has the legal right, then he might be fired, but that should be the extent of it.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:56 amJack Smith is pursuing another in a long line of lawfare cases. Garland, Mayorkas and many others need to be held accountable for their political weaponization of the DOJ. Hmm, maybe they should be deported. Now that I've said that, you can report that flock wants Garland deported. Right?

You were the one who brought up the bleach incident again. And I quoted Trump's own words. If that's "Bob Juch territory" then so be it.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 9:03 pmMy God, ear. As to the accountability issue for Jack Smith (and any others), if they have violated any canons of ethics or broken any laws, then they should be held accountable. But to even joke about deporting is wrong. And with Trump, it's hard to know when he's just "riffing" or if he's serious. And sometimes his "riffs" become more than that.

You have 4 years of a trump presidency as a reference. If he wanted to do any of the garbage thrown around that you believe because you digest what you are being fed about him, he would have done it then. Wake up, ear. I continue to believe you have it in you.earendel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 7:00 amYou were the one who brought up the bleach incident again. And I quoted Trump's own words. Merchan has called off his sentencing.
The lawfare against President Trump is all but dead.
Not only a waste of time and taxpayer money, but a serious misuse of political power and outright corruption.
There needs to be legal accountability. Which, keep in mind, using the same strategy and tools, the MSM will call retribution.
