I am here. And, I am proud to say, I have not tested positive for any performance enhancing drugs. I come by my ignorance naturally.

I cannot, however, state with any certainty that pictures do not exist of me from college days in a "Phelps-like" pose.

Don't even joke about such things. I mean, y'know that line in "Apocalypse Now", where Brando says "The horror! The horror!"? It would apply to me and a Speedo.

I actually meant there was a time back in college when I "experimented" with snorting chlorinated water.

I'll have you know that I chose the high road with that one. I could have gone with the crasser "I meant pictures of me doing the breaststroke", but I am a classy guy.

I have never been in the closet.

Ummm...let me rephrase that...

I bet I'd be offended if I understood that one. I tried to figure out what the sidestroke would entail but I think I'm better off not knowing.

I would never offend you. It's just a nice flowing stroke that isn't as fluttery as the butterfly.

I'm all about poetry.

At least not intentionally...

The sidestroke is a real stroke. It's where you use the frogkick and stroke your arms sideways.

I like the sidestroke. It's nice and comfy and sleek.

Oh, I know the sidestroke as it applies to swimming. I'm just not sure how it applies to performing it in a closet....of course, I don't think I wanna know.

It doesn't apply. It was a bad joke that extended from the speedo. I'm not on tonight.
Sorry. It was totally nonsense. I'm off my game.

No apologies. My offended tone was in jest. I understood the basics of what you were going for.

Hey. We created some classics together, such as James Bronk and Purses Galore. We're allowed an off night.

Now then, what exactly did you MEAN when you talk about a bad joke extending from my speedo??????

Only a bad joke to those for whom it wasn't intended. Eh? EH?

Oh, Purses Galore. Sob. Sigh. Those were the days my friends....
