I see Melly mentioned this book in the reading thread.
I have recommended "The Bones of Plenty" by Lois Phillips Hudson before to "Tree Grows" fans and I just want to repeat and emphasize the rec.

Ever since you recommended it, I looked it up and read nothing but good things about it.
I plan on using part of a Christmas Amazon.com gift certificate on it.

And so that I can have all Francie all the time, I preordered the A Tree Grows in Brooklyn audio book, which will be released Feb 11.
