Actually, i don't know the Joni Mitchell song - I know it from Neil Diamond's version.

So, Kay's at the beach. Good for Kay. We have 6 ft. high snow piles and more coming overnight and then tomorrow, it really starts to snow!

OK we have:

Midnight in Moscow

Free Man in Paris.

The title of the album from which Free Man in Paris comes has an oblique connection with my Q5 (which will come after Q4...).

There were Britishers in 1962 who took an essentially American music form, loved it as their own, and sent it all across the world with #1 hit records.

I am of course speaking of Kenny Ball, and the British Trad Jazz movement,.

I have to admit that playing the "Alte Kocher" version of Lyrically Speaking probably hit my imagination for question writing today, with stuff coming up that is even more mustier than usual.

Q4, then:

B - Joe Shlabotnik, Charlie Brown's baseball hero, was last heard of playing for this team:

1 - Hillcrest in the Green Grass League
2 - Redwood in the Tall Tree League
3 - Lakeside in the Rolling River League
4 - Smokestack in the Interurban League

G - "The Girls in.." in the weekend comic section soap equivalent lived in which "Apartment:"

1 - "2-D"
2 - "3-G"
3 - "4-A"
4 - "9-B"

Boy, do I feel ignorant.

Ball continues to tour well into the 2000s. He has charted no fewer than 14 Top 50 hit singles in the UK alone, the most by any jazz artist.[1] All such releases were issued on the Pye record label.

I have a Sirius radio in my car and had it on Movin Easy station that plays a lot of Joni Mitchell songs, Beatles, Carol King, Drifters, just all kinds of good stuff. Enjoyed my drive down here today.

Yes.

I was told that I couldn't make any political comments in the car and I didn't.

I made all of the kids give me their cell phone numbers by calling me so they could contact me in case of emergency.

I told Maddie to be careful and not talk to strangers. The "cute" boy jokingly told me that he would call me every ten minutes to make sure that I was ok.

Easy around here. Just play rather than meister and I learns all sorts of stuff I thought I already knew. BUt have never heard of. But whicdh acquires a sort of special value because it has been valued enough to be a question.

I'm at the beach for my nephew's wedding tomorrow. It's not a "pleasure trip" per se. I'll make the best of it though, and I did manage to make FNGD. :D

It looks as if all of us were booted from the bored simultaneously.

Thank you for meistering, Etaoin. I'm sorry we couldn't finish the game.

(Save those last questions. Another Friday night will appear in the future.)
