Chairs. Sigh

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Mon Sep 09, 2024 1:55 pm

Not important in the grand scheme of things certainly.

Bought two patio chairs from Home Depot, wicker stuff with cushions. Were told they'd be delivered assembled and shrink wrapped. They match our current ones.

Of course they're in boxes, which I indicated in survey.
Fed Ex delivery guy was great and brought around back, so tipped him.

Gonna wait til possible storm doesn't happen to begin the unbox, figure out instructions, blah blah
That is all.

At least when assembled we can sit in them without fear of falling backward and beaning ourselves.
Well, then

I hope you have a good Allen wrench driver instead of one of those tiny L-shaped things. The combo ones are worse because all the other wrenches get in the way.

We discovered it came with a rachet one after using the l shaped one. Of course it got stuck so pliers were used. Comedy of errors. I'm pretty good with the little one but whatever. It's a mini clusterf@## regardless.

When I bought my house in South Carolina, I also bought all new furniture. Everything required an Allen wrench to assemble. It wasn't as flat as Ikea furniture, though. I bought wrenches similar to the ones in my photo but also got a cordless drill and a set of Allen bits.
