The Macy's Parade
will be enhanced by the presence of the University of Oklahoma marching band.
The Pride of Oklahoma will proudly strut their stuff between the cornucopia and the Mr. Potato Head balloon, and will appear on-camera aprox. 10:20 Central Time. Set your recording devices now!

There they are -- about an hour behind the predicted time. I was afraid they'd appeared during a commercial.hermillion wrote:will be enhanced by the presence of the University of Oklahoma marching band.

Happy 100th birthday, Oklahoma -- and thanks to Rodgers & Hammerstein for the best state song!

You must have been watching the NBC version. The 10:20 ETA was from our local CBS station. There they are -- about an hour behind the predicted time. I was afraid they'd appeared during a commercial.
Boomer Sooner anyway - and twice is just that much better!

I was tres amused when the male idiot (Dave Price, maybe?) hosting CBS' coverage, saw his opportunity to show off his vast knowledge of the sporting world when the OU band came through.
"And Hannah, I believe Tom Osborne was just appointed interim Athletic Director at Oklahoma again."
As nitrah would say, I am not making this up.
We can only hope that AppaHd was not watching CBS's coverage.

I know a woman with two komondors. She offered to give me a connection and a recommendation for a rescue group in Arizona. To get one of them, when one becomes available, sounds like it will require months and the purchase of plane tickets. I have not ruled that out for the future, but it turned out not to be the best plan for the recent past.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:Emma and I watched the last half hour of the parade.
We love the dog show.
This is my favorite type of dog so far:
