Re: Transcript 05/21/09 - Venida Evans
Venida Evans is one of the coolest people I've ever met. Besides doing the Ikea commercials, she served in the air force and was a backup singer for Frank Zappa.

Hey, I was behind Meredith, too! In the third row, IIRC; we must have been sitting pretty close together!ten96lt wrote:Ya, I was behind Merideth about 3rd from the top. I don't know where you were, but I just remember a lot of people near me wondering why she didn't phone a friend. Was there any chatter about this by you?MarleysGh0st wrote:Were you in the audience for this taping last October, ten96lt? So was I!
I remember being surprised when Venida didn't use her PAF, but I don't think I said anything audible. I know when we have to keep silent in the audience--even if there are times we want to shout out "CAPTCHA!"

I was the big guy in the grey suit. Brown hair and glasses. It probably wasn't you, but I remember someone in my range of hearing whisper, phone a friend. Unless that was me doing it in my head lol.MarleysGh0st wrote:Hey, I was behind Meredith, too! BTW, you think the producers woulda taken to me lightly if I went to the audition and I said I was the one that screamed out CAPTCHA if I actually did? I see why now it can be hard sitting in an audience when you wanna help the person.

Sorry, I can't remember who was around me. It certainly wasn't the first taping I've gone to.ten96lt wrote:I was the big guy in the grey suit. Brown hair and glasses. If you had actually shouted out the answer, I think you'd have been escorted out by TPTB's security people, then you could have found out if they work like the cops in Slumdog. One of their security guys reminds me of the Dapper Don, so I wouldn't take any chances!
OTOH, if you made a big enough scene and if they decided you weren't in league with clem, they might have thrown that question out and given him another.
Probably just would have told him to ignore the lunatic in the audience and continue.
BTW, there were a couple people in the first audience group that I though would have to be escorted out, that day. Somehow, they managed to control themselves.

Re: Transcript 05/21/09 - Venida Evans
I don't know if they would have (I really don't know). I do know that they told us that sometimes people do shout out answers, and that you don't know these people, so it is probably not in your best interest to trust them. So it must have happened, they didn't elaborate if they would remove the person or not. Someone did do an early "wooo" when I was going through one of the answers I was going to choose, I have no idea who it was, and I don't think anything happened.MarleysGh0st wrote:Sorry, I can't remember who was around me. I only ever saw one person get kicked out and it was the guy in the front row giving the camera the finger.

That was me. I was giving the finger to "some camera".

It wasn't you...the audience had no idea what was going on, I guess (Rob told me later)...but in the green room we saw the camera zoom in and out on the finger a few times and then watched him get removed. It was funny.ulysses5019 wrote:sunflower wrote:I don't know if they would have (I really don't know). Well you never know, you might've been able to pull a memory and remember me, it was worth a shot. I know better to control myself. It's jus that sitting there and when you know the answer and Clem doesn't, I wish they had a "ask an audience member" lifeline to help him out. LOL. I think i know which security guard you're talking about, but I think I can take him on lol. But they could also be like the security in Casino which would be worse. And BTW......lunatic?!?!?!? I resemble that remarkMarleysGh0st wrote:Sorry, I can't remember who was around me. It certainly wasn't the first taping I've gone to.ten96lt wrote:I was the big guy in the grey suit. Hell, why bother wishing for more lifelines, I might as well just wish for them to give me the money...ten96lt wrote:Well you never know, you might've been able to pull a memory and remember me, it was worth a shot.
